I haven't been happy with the direction my project is going. I don't think that projecting time lapse onto a cloud statue will create the effect I was looking for. I have spent a lot of time brain storming how I could change my project. I have come up with the idea of creating INDOOR CLOUD GAZING! I want to borrow my very generous classmate's camera and record a long segment of cloud time lapse. I then want to project my recording inside in overhead space so that viewers feel like they are outside looking up at the sky.
I need to think about how I want to project the film overhead. This depends on where I present my project and on whether or not I have the audience sit or stand. If I present in the classroom, I could project onto the ceiling and have viewers lay on the floor. If I present in the black box, I could create an inclosed space with sheets and metal hangers and project onto a white space. This could get tricky because, what type of fabric? how big do i want the space to be? how will viewers enter and exit the space? etc
What I like most about this idea is creating the illusion of being outside laying in a field, gazing up at the sky. This idea gives me space to play around with noise. I think that some kind of audio needs to accompany the projection to genuinely create this illusion. Maybe I can record sound when I record the video. this may be boring because where I recorded last was by the diagonal highway so the sound recording would just be of cars passing. Maybe this would work. I will have to play around and experiment some bit.

Cloud Construction
I went to Joann fabrics to find some materials to make the clouds out of. I found this white material used as a Halloween decoration and a similar material that is used as snow decoration. The snow imitation material has sparkly thread in it. I played around with the material a little. It was very easy to mold but was very delicate. I am going to need to get some kind of wire/screen to use with it so the clouds will maintain their shape while being hung.
Time Lapse
Yesterday was a 10 out of 10 for cloud gazing and recording cloud time lapse. I ran into some technical issues but was able to get some video recording that may work.

Recent Inspirations
found this time lapse video. At 1:11, the sun light is really bright, this is how I want my footage to look. I wonder if the photographer had the camera faced straight up towards the sky. I didn't try filming that way last time I shot film. I'm going to try that maybe tomorrow. PLEASE BE PARTLY CLOUDY!
